Betty and Frank Fields are no stranger to the community. Both have been involved in real estate for the last 20+ years and have served in many charitable and civic organizations. Betty was born and raised in the Snook community and has many ties to the area. Her parents are Henry (deceased) and Annie Hejl (94 years old). Annie still bakes and cooks and has taught many young and old women and men how to make kolaches. She often bakes pies or cakes to serve at the restaurant. Betty's love for the old recipes and the creating of new and exciting food makes every day a joy to come to work.
Frank owned restaurants in the '80s and early '90s in Bryan-College Station. For a walk down memory lane, come visit Frank and reminisce about Frank's Bar & Grill, Cenare, or Brazos Stock Exchange. His expertise with Italian food has created much interest in the Thursday night Italian specials like Flounder Milanese, Pasta Carbonara, Chicken Marsala and "no", he does not do homemade potato chips and cucumber dip. But, he will visit with you about old times and recommend a wide variety of wines.
Frank and Betty are excited about owning a piece of Snook history and welcome your next visit. Whether you want a quieter atmosphere for lunch or dinner, or just want a short drive out of town (approx. nine miles from College Station and Aggieland) to the country or possibly a meeting place, or wedding rehearsal/reception or any kind of celebration, call us and we will be happy to help you.
